Daniel is a Chinese born entrepreneur who graduated from dental school, switched to IT industry and later moved to the US in 2001. Despite struggling with English, he settled in Chicago with his wife and started multiple successful businesses, including an MSP that he found in 2008, grew to $1.7M in 6 years and merged with a master MSP and later became an angel investor in over 40 SAAS, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data start-ups. In 2019, he founded MSPbots, which provides prebuilt dashboards and automates process operations to increase value and consistency for MSPs which prepare the MSPs to be ready for the AI time.
Callen’s passion is facilitating success for founders and corporate-driven organizations alike. As a self-taught prodigy who began his professional journey earlier than most, Callen spent 17 years mastering the art of sales across diverse industries, from mattresses to cutting-edge software. Although successful, he felt unfulfilled until he pivoted my career to focus on long-term strategic visions rather than just hitting quotas. Since then, he’s been a key player in an acquisition exceeding a billion dollars, led strategic initiatives impacting thousands of colleagues and millions of end-users, and co-owned an exceptionally effective Advisory Council. In two years he spearheaded a successful exit with Refactr, now part of Sophos, where he now led the DevSecOps product set. Recently, he joined MSPBots as the head of strategy, operations, and security where post raise is working to scale the company. Beyond corporate responsibilities, he advises startups, primarily in the MSP sector, guiding them from ideation to exit. A dad who loves video games in his free time he can be found playing Halo with his boys Landen and Corben or supporting his wife’s activism as the family recalibrates life post-cancer challenges for the family.
With over two decades of experience in investing and corporate finance, Raphi brings a strategic mindset to driving MSPbots’ growth. Having both been an investor and a finance leader in SaaS businesses, Raphi is keenly focused on thoughtfully scaling our platform.
Joy is a seasoned product lead with a strong focus on the FinTech industry prior to joining MSPbots. She has a robust track record of both introducing new products and enhancing existing offerings. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She also brings valuable experience in defining product strategy and refining software development processes from her tenure at Goldman Sachs.
Ken Lee is the Head of Development at MSPbots.ai, based in Chicago. With over 19 years of experience in technology leadership, he specializes in IT strategy, project management, and system architecture design. Since January 2019, Ken has been driving the technological strategy at MSPbots.ai, building high-performing development teams, and implementing best practices in technology and project management to ensure efficient project delivery and high-quality results. His primary focus is on optimizing business processes through automation and artificial intelligence. Before this role, Ken was the Development Team Manager at ACTIVE Network, where he successfully led teams in developing several core products, including the company's flagship product. Under his leadership, the team continuously overcame technical challenges, resulting in significant product performance and user experience improvements, earning widespread recognition from customers and senior management.
Moses Castillo has over a decade of experience in software sales and has honed his skills in building and leading high-performing teams. As Head of Revenue at MSPbots, he leverages his expertise to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies that drive growth. Pat is recognized for optimizing HR workflows, His notable achievements include improving recruitment fill rates to 98% and reducing cost per hire by 67% as Recruitment Operations Manager for a Travel BPO and driving a 200% increase in monthly hiring as Senior Recruitment Manager at for a multi-regional BPO in the Philippines. Additionally, Pat has valuable startup experience as an HR Business Lead at JB Agustin Law Office, where he streamlined HR recruitment and labor processes for various clients. Eddie Lou is an active angel investor in over 80 early-stage tech companies and acts as a mentor, coach, advisor, or board director to many of them. Lou is a board director at Albert.io, HiLink, Infi, Lemonlight, and MSPBots. Lou is a co-founder and board director of CodaPet. Previously, he was a co-founder of Shiftgig, the mobile app that connects hourly labor with business shifts. Lou grew the company from idea to 200 full-time employees across 13 cities serving 2,000 business clients and 30,000 hourly workers; he raised over $50M of institutional capital during a rapid growth period. Lou is also co-founder and board director of One Goal, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit that improves college acceptance and persistence by empowering urban high school students through a teacher-led 3-year fellowship. In the past few years, One Goal has grown to over 220 staff members and a $30 million annual budget in large part due to the program’s success – 98% of program fellows get accepted to college and 78% are persisting. Since inception, the program has grown from seven students in one school to 20,000 students in 600 schools across 6 cities. Lou was previously a general partner with OCA Ventures, in Fund I and Fund II, Lou invested in ten portfolio companies in software, consumer internet, and business services. Aziz Gilani is a Managing Director at Mercury, where he focuses on investments in enterprise SaaS, Cloudand data science startups. In 2022 Aziz was appointed to the National Advisory Council for Innovation and Entrepreneurship by US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. Aziz also serves on the NVCA board of directors of the and in advisory roles for The BFM Fund and SXSW Interactive. He received the 2021 National Venture Capital Association Service Award for his work with public policy makers. He is also a Lecturer at Rice's Jones Graduate School of Business where he teaches entrepreneurial finance.
