Release Notes 1.93

In our mission to provide a platform that streamlines workflows, here’s MSPbots Release Notes 1.93 containing our latest app updates.

Explore how each feature can elevate your command over daily operations, minimize manual effort, and enrich the decision-making landscape with clarity and precision.

Mobile-Managed Attendance Commands

Administering attendance just got a whole lot easier. A new toggle switch under Settings > Options in the Attendance App labeled “Allow Attendance commands from mobile APPs” is designed to manage and control the reception and response of commands from mobile platforms like iOS and Android.

The switch is turned on by default, welcoming commands from all platforms—be it iOS, Android, Web, Mac, or Windows. To limit this access, flick the switch off.

The variety of commands at your disposal remain unchanged, covering a broad spectrum including: in (in at), break, lunch, onsite, back, wfh, out (out at), stats, and PTO.

Tailored Ticketing Rules

The latest upgrade in the NextTicket App for Halo, ConnectWise Manage, or Autotask caters to admin users seeking a refined level of control over their ticketing system. If the preset priority rules feel too rigid, custom advanced rules can match your specific organizational pulse.

Click on “+ Advanced Rule” at the tail end of the rule list. A few simple steps of furnishing a Rule Name, Rule Description, condition values, and the scores to award when conditions are met, and you have it—your tailored rule is set.

When there’s a condition that you wish to replicate, the ‘Clone’ button is your friend. It will mirror the condition and its associated score into a new slot right below the existing rule.

To craft a rule from scratch, click the ‘Add’ button to introduce an empty condition, ready to be molded as per your needs.

The ‘Edit’ button lets you alter the name, description, and specific conditions of the rule. And like their default counterparts, these advanced rules come with an enable/disable switch.

Priority Rule Mastery in Next Ticket For ConnectWise Manage

Another update to the NextTicket For ConnectWise Manage App unveils a fresh approach to ticket management. Two robust preset rules in the Priority Rules section; the Ticket Age Custom Field and Ticket Custom Field.

The Ticket Age Custom Field rule allows you to select a custom field and increment points on a per-working day, day, hour, or minute basis, based on a specified field’s relation to a certain date. This rule holds the reins tight to keep aging tickets well within your control.

On the flip side, the Ticket Custom Field rule lets you craft custom ticket management strategies by letting you select a custom field and tally points when specified conditions are met. With the ability to tailor ticket prioritization based on unique conditions, organizing and managing the ticket queue becomes less of a chore and more of a strategic endeavor.

Admin Flexibility in the Attendance App

The latest update on our Attendance App eases administration tasks through allowing admins to create, edit, and delete PTO requests on behalf of users.

With this feature, administrators can file their PTOs in instances where a team member, due to unforeseen circumstances or personal reasons, is unable to submit a PTO request.

This update streamlines the PTO management process by centralizing the control with administrators, reducing the need for multiple parties’ involvement.

‘Assignee’s Attendance Status’ Variable

Our latest addition to the “Priority Rules” section of Next Ticket for AutoTask aids how task priorities are set and managed. With the introduction of the “assignee’s_attendance_status” variable in the advanced rules, personalized task prioritization is made possible.

This new variable, mirroring the Attendance status, lets administrators tailor task priority rules in sync with the attendance records of users. With the new variable, the system becomes more adept at swiftly identifying the most suited personnel for a specific task based on their attendance.

Automated SyncroMSP Integration

We’ve improved the connectivity between SyncroMSP and the MSPbots app, catering especially to the admin users.

Once a successful integration is established, real-time updates are enabled by the automatic generation of a webhook callback URL. Simply copy this URL and paste it into the designated Webhook URL section found in the Notification Center tab of your SyncroMSP app.

When a noteworthy event arises in SyncroMSP—be it ticket updates or device failures—the webhook is triggered, shuttling the crucial information straight to the MSPbots app for prompt processing and display.

Clarified Usage Indicators

Navigating through the Datasets page has become more intuitive with our latest tweak to the prompts for Linked Bots and Linked Widgets.

You’ll find a refined prompt beneath the pop-up window, morphing from “[x] widgets from other tenants are also using” to “[x] more widgets/bots from other tenants are also using this dataset.”

This modification provides an understanding of how many bots or widgets from other tenants are presently using the dataset.

Interactive Highlighting

Navigating through a sea of data can sometimes be confusing, especially when faced with multiple overlapping trends on a line chart. Our newest feature enhancement on the Line Chart widget is designed to address this challenge.

As you hover over a line in the Line Chart widget, that specific line comes to the spotlight, highlighted amidst the others. This simple yet powerful feature allows for an effortless comparison between different lines, showcasing the contrasts and correlations.

Grouped & Sorted Email Recipients in Dashboards

Navigating through a list of email recipients when scheduling reports can be time-consuming. Thankfully, this update streamlines the process!

Instead of sifting through an endless sea of emails, now you can conveniently view email addresses grouped by their respective companies and sorted in alphabetical order through a concise dropdown list.

When the recipient you’re looking for is not in the system, simply type in their email address, hit enter, and they’re added, both to your report and for any future communications. No need for any cumbersome processes.

Moreover, to distinguish, we’ve added two groups:

  • Manually Added: For email addresses you input.
  • Unknown Company: For synced recipients where company data might be missing.

We’ve eliminated the fuss about finding and adding recipients for your reports.
