Custom Condition Fields in Advanced Rules 

Navigate to the Advanced Priority Rules section within the Next Ticket app for AutoTask or ConnectWise. 

This new feature allows you to integrate your own custom fields from AutoTask’s User-Defined Fields (UDF) or ConnectWise’s Company Custom Field functionality into the condition fields for Advanced Priority Rules. This ensures that the rules you set for ticket prioritization are tailored specifically to your operational needs. 

With automatic synchronization—every 5 hours for AutoTask and hourly for ConnectWise— your custom settings stay up to date, reflecting any changes you make. 

How It Helps: Utilizing your custom-defined fields lets you create more nuanced and precise rules, enhancing your ticketing system’s efficiency. 

This seamless integration means better ticket management, faster response times, and a more organized workflow, empowering you to provide exceptional service to your customers.

Easily Access and Rectify Time Entry Conflicts 

The update is applied to the messages from the Tech Stats Reviewer bot within Microsoft Teams for AutoTask users. 

We’ve optimized the bot’s response when you use the commands out, stats, or qa. Instead of a link to the time entry, you’ll now receive a direct ticket link. This link takes you straight to the relevant ticket where you can edit and correct overlapping time entries. 

How It Helps: This tweak eliminates navigating through AutoTask just to locate a time entry. With the new system, a single click on the ticket link brings you to the right spot to make necessary adjustments.  

For AutoTask users, this means less time troubleshooting and more time being productive.

Secure Your Email Communications with Modern Authentication 

The OAuth2 (Open Authorization 2.0) authentication option can be found in the System section under Settings when configuring outgoing mail. 

We’ve introduced OAuth2 authentication for sending emails, preparing for the eventual phase-out of basic authentication by Microsoft. OAuth2 is not just a response to changes; it’s a step up in security and efficiency for your email communications. 

How It Helps: Choosing OAuth2 means enhanced security, as it relies on tokens rather than constant input of usernames and passwords. It’s also in line with modern security protocols, ensuring that your email sending capabilities remain uninterrupted as industry standards shift.

Scheduled PDF Reports Now Feature Your Company Name 

This update is present in the PDF report files sent via the Scheduled Report feature in Dashboards or Reports. 

The file names of PDF reports now automatically include your company’s name. This change has been made to ensure that every report you schedule and send out is easily identifiable and associated with your organization. 

How It Helps: With this simple yet effective update, you can:
